2025 NFL Strength of Schedule
I know it’s been awhile, but it’s football season again baby!
This will be a short post, as I just wanted to share the 2025 NFL Strength of Schedule I put together using Vegas Implied Win Totals (the numbers of wins sportsbook’s are projecting each team to win)
With the season right around the corner, I will be ramping the newsletter up again! Sorry it’s been awhile, life gets busy and it was nice to take the winter offseason off to catch back up on some IRL things — but we’re back to cooking baby!
In the meantime, I have been ramping up on Twitter recently (you can follow me here @BigLoaf_Fantasy) if you’re wanting to keep up with the content I’m dropping that is more optimized for social media than a full length newsletter post (kind of like this one, but I know you guys will enjoy this and some of you aren’t on Twitter, so didn’t want you to miss out)
2025 Vegas Implied Strength of Schedule
Here’s what everything means!
I-WT: Implied Win Totals
Opp W Total: The total number of wins that teams opponents are projected to win in 2025
Avg Opp Ws: The average number of wins that teams opponents are projected to win in 2025
SOS: Strength of Schedule (1 being the hardest schedule and 32 being the easiest)
Top 5 Hardest Schedules:
1. Giants
t2. Lions
t2. Browns
4. Vikings
5. Steelers
Top 5 Easiest Schedules:
1. 49ers
2. Patriots
3. Saints
4. Jaguars
5. Falcons
The Giants are the only team in the league whose 2025 opponents average more than 9 wins -- tough runout for them as they'll face the NFC North and AFC West, the two highest projected winning divisions -- on top of their 6 divisional games
49ers and Patriots are the only two teams whose 2025 opponents average less than 8 wins
49ers/Patriots are both benefitting from finishing last in their divisions in 2024 and the NFC West/AFC East drawing both the AFC South and NFC South, the two lowest projected winning divisions

Here is every teams full schedule (keep in mind the official NFL schedule isn’t out yet, so this is solely their opponents and their win totals, not the exact week they’ll play them in)
